About Pusat Studi Sosial Asia Tenggara UGM
The Pusat Studi Sosial Asia Tenggara (PSSAT)/Center for Southeast Asian Social Studies (CESASS) is a research institute of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) that focuses on social issues in Southeast Asian region. The research center was founded on 1st April 1986 with the name of Pusat Antar Universitas (PAU) Sosial. In 2001, under the supervision of Prof. Bambang Purwanto the name was changed into CESASS in order to emphasize the commitment toward social studies in Southeast Asian area.

Intern Duties
- Assisting with current or new project design and implementation;
- Research assistance and data collection;
- Assisting in the design and editing of web material and other reporting obligations;
- Media and communication strategy assistance;
- Proofreading manuscript for IKAT: The Indonesian Journal of Southeast Asian Studies
Work Hours
Minimum 4 hours per day, 20-30 hours per week
