Vision
The vision of the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency in 2015-2019 is :
“To Become the Competent, Synergic, and Credible National Development Planning Institution”
Mission
The mission of the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency in 2015-2019 is as follows:
- To formulate and determine policies on planning, budgeting, regulation, and institution of national development that are harmoniuos (among regions, among spaces, among times, among functions of thye central as well as of regional governments)
- To carry out the control of the implementation of plans with regard to programs and activities for accelarating the implementation of development that is carried out by Ministries/Regional Agencies in line with the national development policies; and
- To carry out the governance of governmental institutions that is good and clean at the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency
Aim
In order to realize the Vision and implement the Mission, the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency has determined two aims that will be achieved in the next five years, namely:
- To realize a national development plan that is competent, synergistic, and credible; and
- To realize a good and clean institutional governance at the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency
The Ministry/Agency has four main roles and functions:
- To formulate policies and decision making
- To function as think-tank
- To function as coordinator
- To function as administrator
