ACICIS is thrilled to be soon welcoming our next intake of semester students (“Semester 59”) to Indonesia in late July and August 2024. There will be 32 students from 12 Australian universities, one European university and one university in the UK!

We are hopeful to witness an increase in the number of participants in the next iterations of our semester programs. Applications for the Semester 1, 2025 Flexible Language Immersion Program, Development Studies Immersion Program, Indonesian Business, Law & Society, and Agriculture Semester Program are still open and will due on 18 August 2024. Applications for our International Relations Program and West Java Field Study will close on 1 September 2024. Please share with your students.

Of the 32 students undertaking study in Indonesia through ACICIS in the first half of 2024, 19 students will be doing so with the assistance of New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants and five students with the New Colombo Plan Scholarship. Of these 32 students, 3 of them are continuing their Indonesia experience from Semester 1, 2024 (“Semester 58”) – we are pleased they are enjoying their experiences!

In the upcoming semester, ACICIS will have two semester programs running in Yogyakarta next semester, namely the Flexible Language Immersion Program (FLIP) at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and the Indonesian Business, Law and Society (IBLS) Program at Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). The International Relations Program will be delivered at Parahyangan University in Bandung.
