International Relations Program

Hammad Shahin is a 2023 New Colombo Plan Scholar from La Trobe University. He is studying Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of International Relations & Diploma in Languages (Indonesian). Hammad undertook the International Relations Program for one semester at Parahyangan Catholic University from February until July 2024.

Q: Why did you decide to undertake ACICIS’ International Relations Program (IRP) ?

The ACICIS IRP appealed to me as an attractive program allowing me to finish my International Relations degree by studying at a university highly-ranked for its international relations school.

Q: Did you receive a New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant? If so, how did this contribute to your experience in Indonesia? 

I undertook program through NCP Scholarship.

It has further cemented my desire to work in the Australia-Indonesia space.

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time in Bandung?

Go to the gym, play board games, walk, go touring, dapping up my friends.
