ACICIS was delighted to host 24 students from nine Australian universities in our Winter 2024 Indonesian Language Short Course in Indonesia. We’re thrilled by the positive feedback and appreciation our students have shared about our programs. Notably, 19 out of the 24 students were recipients of the prestigious New Colombo Plan (NCP) mobility grants from the Australian Government and three were New Colombo Plan scholars.

Upon concluding the program at the Satya Wacana University in Salatiga, students are invited to partake in an anonymous survey aimed at obtaining constructive feedback regarding their ACICIS experience. 19 out of the 24 participants (79%) shared their insights through the survey. Here’s a glimpse of the valuable feedback we have received.
95 % of respondents said they would recommend ACICIS to other students at their university!
Our ILSC Winter 2024 social media ambassador, Gwyn Roberts from Deakin University shared his incredible and unforgettable journey in the program from immersing himself in the vibrant celebrations of the Islamic New Year to enjoying the breathtaking views from the first of the seven peaks of Mt. Emily Abbott studies a Bachelor of International Studies at RMIT University. Her most rewarding experience during the program is that she can make a lot of new friends everywhere she explores. Check out more of her story here.
Hannah Dalwood who studies a Bachelor of Global Studies at Monash University received a New Colombo Plan mobility grant to support her in the program. She enjoyed Salatiga, the host city of the program. For her, Salatiga was a beautiful, tranquil city against a beautiful mountainous backdrop. She had the opportunity to explore its culinary delights and vibrant culture and made new friends while immersing herself in the diverse city throughout her program.Check out more of her experience here.
